Elimination Protocol: outbreak symbols

The artwork refers to the 2019 outbreak and the period of home isolation. Virus icons appear alongside masks, medicine, syringes, test tubes, and protective barriers. Latin letters are the main legends, with smaller orange Pinyin and Zhuyin (Bopomofo) symbols beside them.

The Obsidian base kit

The black base kit pairs orange accents with PBT keycaps in Cherry Profile. It does not include the complete orange supplement. Dye-Sublimation puts the legends into the plastic, so they are part of the cap surface.

The complete orange group

The orange option combines the supplement keys with orange number keys. It is sold separately from the Obsidian base kit. Choose it if you already have a base set and want the full orange group.

FAQs

Most keycaps use a standard MX-style cross stem, which is compatible with the majority of mechanical switches (Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Akko, etc.).
Before purchasing, please check:

  • Your keyboard layout (60%, 65%, 75%, TKL, Full-size, etc.)
  • Whether you need special keys (ISO Enter, split spacebar, 1.75u Shift, etc.)

For a more detailed explanation, you can also read our guide here:

If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us before ordering.

Keycap profile refers to the height and shape of the keycaps.

  • Cherry Profile – Lower height, comfortable for long typing sessions
  • OEM Profile – Slightly taller, very common on prebuilt keyboards
  • MOA Profile – Uniform height, rounded shape, cute and soft typing feel

Choosing a profile is mostly about personal preference.

Please check the product specs:

  • Shine-through: Yes → Legends allow RGB light to pass through
  • Shine-through: No → Legends are solid (better color accuracy, no light bleed)

Some keycaps may feature translucent sides for RGB underglow while keeping solid legends.
