Cherry Profile is the most popular aftermarket keycap profile for a reason. The rows are sculpted with a gentle ergonomic curve that shortens finger reach on the top rows. URE Profile: Taller, Thicker, More Sculpted

URE Profile gives your keyboard a taller, more striking silhouette. The keys have a deeper sculpt that cups your fingertips and creates a pronounced side profile. The URE variant is also built with extra-thick 1.7mm PBT walls — noticeably more substantial than the standard 1.4mm found on most keycaps. That extra material translates to a cleaner, deeper bottom-out sound and a more solid feel under your fingers. This version includes 156 keys — four more than the Cherry set — for broader layout coverage.

  • Your keyboard layout (60%, 65%, 75%, TKL, Full-size, etc.)
  • Whether you need special keys (ISO Enter, split spacebar, 1.75u Shift, etc.)

  • Cherry Profile – Lower height, comfortable for long typing sessions
  • OEM Profile – Slightly taller, very common on prebuilt keyboards
  • MOA Profile – Uniform height, rounded shape, cute and soft typing feel

Choosing a profile is mostly about personal preference.

Please check the product specs:

  • Shine-through: Yes → Legends allow RGB light to pass through
  • Shine-through: No → Legends are solid (better color accuracy, no light bleed)

Some keycaps may feature translucent sides for RGB underglow while keeping solid legends.
